This is how each collection begins. The communion between the artist and gemstone is a connection that becomes a vision.

About
Since Andrea Kolpaska was sixteen years old, she dreamed of becoming a jewellery designer. This passion led her to pursue and complete two M.A. programs at The Academy of Fine Arts and Design in Bratislava. These degrees have provided Andrea with the necessary skills and knowledge required to bring her singular vision to fruition. In 1999, she emigrated from the Slovak Republic/Czechoslovakia to begin a new life in Canada. She was awestruck by her adopted country’s natural beauty and was immediately inspired to create jewellery that reflected this natural magnificence. The response to Andrea’s jewellery in Canada was overwhelming and Originals by Andrea was born.
Andrea Kolpaska designs and crafts each Originals by Andrea piece. She selects only the finest quality materials to create her diverse collection of brooches, pendants, necklaces, earring, and bracelets. Due the inimitable nature of the Andrea’s creative process and the materials she uses to create her jewellery, each Originals by Andrea piece of jewellery is unique. Each creation is as original and beautiful as the person who chooses to wear it.
